Roughly less than 6 hours later, and we finally arrived to Calgary. Mom and I go to grab some takeout to my Aunts house, roughly 5 minutes away from home. As I was exiting the highway, and waiting for an opening to enter into the city, a lady driving a Mazda 3 just rear ends me. Slight damage to bumper, and cracked left rear tail light. AGAIN. I just replaced it last month, shortly before I embarked on this road trip. FUCK! Luckily she was willing to settle this privately, so a small amount of cash exchanged hands, and everything was settled within a span of 24 hours. I also rush to WalMart to grab some red duct tape to cover the cracked housing, to minimize the damage of water ingress. I guess I will be dealing with it the moment I get back home. I just hope I won’t get in trouble with the RCMP on my drive home.
